Description

  • Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources.
  • Participate in joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams.
  • Support partner technical initiatives such as customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching.
  • Advocate for partner technical concerns, including use cases, feature requests, and support issues, and help resolve them with internal teams.
  • Analyze partner service offerings and recommend ways to improve them through better use of Datadog features and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities.
  • Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partners and coordinate closely with Datadog and partner stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in a customer-facing or partner-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on experience in IT development and/or operations.
  • Strong technical grounding and a demonstrated passion for continuous learning.
  • Self-starter with solid business acumen and the ability to communicate Datadog value to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas: observability tools such as Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Dynatrace; public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba; containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Cloud Foundry; scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, or Go; configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Preferred experience supporting channel partners such as systems integrators or managed services providers.
  • Preferred experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, infrastructure monitoring, logs, synthetics, and NPM.
  • Preferred experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
