Description

Own technical and engineering delivery plans, including sprint and milestone planning, dependencies, and critical paths.
Coordinate handoffs across engineering, art, tech art, QA, platform, and certification teams.
Manage build, release, and platform submission cadence, including certification deadlines.
Run and adapt Scrum or Kanban ceremonies for engineering workstreams.
Identify, manage, and escalate risks, blockers, technical debt trade-offs, and delivery dependencies.
Maintain roadmaps, burn-down or burn-up tracking, and squad capacity plans.
Coordinate live-service operations, including patch cycles, hotfixes, and post-launch support.
Manage vendors, outsourcing partners, co-development studios, and other technical dependencies.
Own and improve production tooling and processes, including Jira, Confluence, dashboards, and workflow automation.
Communicate technical status, risks, dependencies, and delivery progress to senior stakeholders.
Translate engineering detail and technical challenges into clear business-relevant communication.

Requirements

3–6+ years of production or programme management experience in game development studios or publishers.
Essential games industry experience, including at least one shipped title or live-service product.
Experience in technical or engineering-facing production rather than solely narrative or content production.
Experience managing a full project lifecycle from pre-production through launch or post-launch.
Strong knowledge of build pipelines, version control, branching strategies, CI/CD for game builds, and platform certification.
Hands-on experience running Scrum or Kanban for engineering teams.
Practical experience with Jira and Confluence, plus Perforce, Git, or another version-control/build system.
Experience managing complex cross-team dependencies, critical paths, risks, and delivery blockers.
Strong stakeholder management skills with engineering leads, directors, publishers, and senior stakeholders.
Ability to translate technical risks and delivery challenges into clear communication.
Experience with live-service or Games-as-a-Service titles, including patch cadence, hotfixes, or telemetry-driven roadmaps (preferred).
Familiarity with Unreal Engine or Unity production pipelines, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity, and console certification processes (preferred).
Experience improving production tooling and processes, managing outsourcing partners, or working as an interim or contractor (preferred).
