Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-grade full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications.
  • Translate product requirements and UX designs into well-structured, testable, and performant code.
  • Implement scalable microservices and modular frontend components for high concurrency and enterprise-scale data volumes.
  • Participate in design and architecture reviews and contribute to decisions on API contracts, data models, and service boundaries.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security gaps, and technical debt.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests and help enforce code quality standards.
  • Investigate defects, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver timely fixes for bugs and customer-reported issues.
  • Support production systems, including incident triage, Tier-2/3 support, post-incident reviews, and runbook maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, QA, DevOps, and distributed engineering teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, containerize services, and support secure deployment workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot, or equivalent senior-level software development experience with product teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering full-stack features in an Agile/Scrum team with regular sprint cadences.
  • Hands-on experience with both backend API development and frontend UI implementation in a production codebase.
  • Solid proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, JPA/Hibernate) and/or C# (.NET / .NET Core).
  • Working proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and React, including hooks, context, and state management.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and accessible UI development; Ext JS/Sencha familiarity is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle, including schema design, SQL, and indexing; NoSQL exposure is a plus.
  • Exposure to AWS or Azure, plus familiarity with Docker and basic Kubernetes concepts.
  • Experience with testing tools such as JUnit/TestNG/Jest and exposure to Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Cucumber.
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, plus Git branching and pull request workflows.
  • Exposure to LLM APIs or AI-powered tooling is a plus, along with curiosity to develop these skills in the role.
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured debugging, and clear written and verbal communication in English.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, growth-oriented, and comfortable with Agile Scrum or Kanban ceremonies.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps Boards; TDD and BDD exposure is a plus.
  • Preferred: experience in workforce management, customer experience, or enterprise analytics domains, or familiarity with Verint WFO, QM, PM, or comparable SaaS platforms.
  • Preferred: AWS Certified Developer or Azure Developer Associate certification, or active pursuit of one.
  • Preferred: experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, or ELK; open-source or side-project contributions; exposure to OWASP Top 10 and secure coding principles.
