Description

  • Participate in technical design sessions to identify and document technical solutions.
  • Develop microservices using AWS serverless architecture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders with a consultative approach.
  • Help build and maintain a strong team culture through partnership, open dialogue, and transparent feedback.
  • Improve the efficiency and flexibility of systems while maintaining customer trust, performance, and availability.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Support legacy code while helping build future-state systems and solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and other teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-8 years of hands-on development experience with modern programming languages, including NodeJS and Python.
  • Experience designing and implementing REST and event-based services using AWS tools such as Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and IAM.
  • Experience implementing and supporting SaaS/cloud software solutions and integrating with internal systems.
  • Experience developing with AWS services including Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, IAM, and STS.
  • Experience working with both non-relational and relational database platforms, including RDS.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Must have experience developing and deploying APIs.
  • Experience building infrastructure with CloudFormation Templates (CFTs).
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving ability to translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
  • Experience in lending or financial services domains is preferred.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or Developer Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with SCRUM, SAFe, and test-driven development is preferred.
  • Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management to discuss requirements, software features, technical designs, and product strategy is preferred.
