Description

  • Play a key role across the software development lifecycle, from concept and trade studies through design, implementation, and iteration.
  • Develop applications that plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations.
  • Build tools for accessing and analyzing engine and component test data.
  • Create internal software used by engineers and operators across the company.
  • Follow agile development practices and deliver continuously integrated and deployed software.
  • Work directly with users and stakeholder teams to define system requirements and implement solutions.
  • Solve complex problems with simple, practical software solutions.
  • Collaborate across design, materials, manufacturing, test, and launch teams on enterprise applications, industrial automation, and data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field, such as Computer, Software, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple applications and services.
  • Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
  • Expertise in front-end frameworks, especially React, and related tools.
  • Proficiency in the languages and tools you use most, with willingness to learn new ones.
  • Passion for mentoring and growing other engineers.
  • Preferred experience designing and scaling service architectures that support high-performance front-end operations.
  • Preferred experience with systems-level programming, including synchronization primitives and memory management.
  • Preferred experience developing low-latency, safety-critical front ends.
  • Preferred experience developing, debugging, and shipping software products across large codebases spanning multiple platforms and tools.
  • Experience with Python, React, TypeScript, and Go.
  • Experience with Spark, Iceberg, DuckDB, Redshift, DBT, Postgres, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm, including both cloud and on-prem environments.
