Description

  • Build and develop modern web applications and services for Wellhub’s Technology and Product team.
  • Work on cutting-edge technologies and complex edge cases at global scale.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Design and develop shared frontend design systems and modern component-based interfaces.
  • Architect large-scale multi-tier backend web applications and cloud-based systems.
  • Develop RESTful web services and coordinate API payloads, mocks, and HTTP best practices with frontend teams.
  • Apply testing and automation practices across tests, CI/CD, and related workflows.
  • Mentor multiple multidisciplinary software engineering teams in backend roles.
  • Communicate and present ideas, solutions, and technical decisions in English, and for frontend roles also in Portuguese.
  • Contribute in an agile environment focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, and CSS-in-JS for frontend roles.
  • Experience designing and developing modern web applications.
  • Experience working with or developing shared Design Systems.
  • Understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
  • Open to learning, growth, and working in an agile environment.
  • Backend experience architecting large-scale multi-tier web applications and cloud-based architectures.
  • Backend experience with AWS or GCP, and with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Node.js, or Golang.
