Description

  • Architect the incrementality product as a reliable, scalable experimentation platform.
  • Set technical direction for near-real-time data ingestion and processing.
  • Define patterns for AI-powered marketing workflows and future supporting frameworks.
  • Lead connection-state systems and partner integrations across data ingestion and exports.
  • Shape technical approaches for adjacent product areas such as role-based access control.
  • Take products from ambiguous requirements through architecture and production deployment.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to define product direction.
  • Conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, and raise engineering quality standards.

Requirements

  • 8+ years designing and building distributed backend systems, microservices, APIs, or data-processing systems in Python.
  • Deep experience owning system architecture and making tradeoffs at scale.
  • Experience turning ambiguous product needs into production-ready technical solutions.
  • Experience partnering with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape products.
  • Startup experience or experience working with broad ownership and ambiguity.
  • Fluency investigating complex datasets, interconnected tables, dependencies, and data issues.
  • Working experience with React and TypeScript; deep frontend specialization is not required.
  • Strong coding fundamentals and effective use of AI as an engineering accelerator.
  • Generalist willingness to work across backend, frontend, pipelines, and infrastructure.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and improving team practices; frontend shipping experience is preferred.

  • Base salary of $190,000–$220,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and location.
