Description

  • Build and maintain reliable, maintainable pipelines that ingest and transform data from multiple sources.
  • Develop and support secure, tenant-aware APIs for external data integrations.
  • Work across event-driven and batch-processing architectures to keep data fresh and consistent.
  • Contribute to API designs and integration patterns supporting real-time and batch ingestion.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting for data freshness, failures, and performance issues.
  • Improve data flows and transformations while balancing cost, efficiency, and delivery speed in a cloud-native environment.
  • Partner with data engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to improve platform extensibility and source onboarding.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or integration engineering, including ETL, APIs, or data pipelines.
  • Solid working proficiency in Python.
  • Experience building against REST APIs; GraphQL or webhook familiarity is preferred.
  • Comfort with SQL and exposure to cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
  • Exposure to orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Willingness to work in a containerized Docker environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to ship consistently and ask effective questions in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, API keys, or secrets management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, enterprise data tools, event-driven architectures, real-time processing, data governance, or multi-tenant SaaS is preferred.

  • Base salary of $140,000–$155,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, and location.
