Description

  • Own the strategy and execution of initiatives that drive new client revenue.
  • Support communications to existing clients and partners.
  • Shape the company’s brand, messaging, and positioning in the market.
  • Lead the long-term roadmap for the Sales & Marketing team and align it with company strategy.
  • Develop and coach team members, including identifying training needs and holding people accountable.
  • Build campaigns and messaging that resonate with the target customer and are communicated consistently across the team.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, and provide insights to guide business strategy.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain alignment on goals, projects, and outcomes.
  • Manage process improvement, technology adoption, resource allocation, and team capability building.
  • Build systems to execute, report on, learn from, and iterate on sales and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience in an in-house or agency role, including experience leading or managing a team.
  • Experience managing pipeline development and helping teams hit sales targets.
  • Experience in digital marketing, demand generation, and supporting a sales team.
  • Proven track record of implementing strategies that meet revenue generation targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience working with productized services or, ideally, the sales tax industry.
  • Ability to use a data-driven approach to optimize sales and marketing performance.
  • Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
  • Strong alignment with TaxValet’s core values and an enthusiasm for the company’s mission.
  • Willingness to work 100% remotely with core hours of 11 AM–4 PM EST.

  • Base salary of $137,500 plus a bonus structure tied to new client revenue generation.
