Description

  • Own the end-to-end pre-sales function for the assigned region or segment, including team structure, capacity, and engagement quality.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Solution Consultants and Demo Engineers through regular 1:1s, performance management, and team enablement.
  • Recruit and onboard Solution Consultant and Demo Engineer talent in line with regional headcount plans.
  • Personally lead discovery workshops, solution design reviews, and executive presentations for strategically significant opportunities.
  • Review and approve demos, solution architectures, scopes of work, effort estimates, and RFP responses for major accounts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Account Executives to define pre-sales strategy, prioritize pipeline coverage, and align resources to opportunity value.
  • Serve as the senior technical authority for the most complex and highest-value prospects in the region.
  • Build and maintain reusable pre-sales assets, including demo environments, solution templates, objection frameworks, and technical battle cards.
  • Coordinate with Product and Delivery leadership to translate field intelligence into roadmap input and improve handover accuracy.
  • Drive pre-sales forecasting accuracy and represent Omilia at senior customer forums, industry events, and partner engagements.

Requirements

  • Significant track record in pre-sales leadership within enterprise SaaS or conversational AI/CCaaS.
  • Direct experience managing and developing Solution Consultant or Pre-Sales Engineer teams.
  • Deep knowledge of conversational AI, voice IVR, NLU, and contact center automation technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead and close complex, high-value enterprise deals across multiple stakeholder levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen across enterprise SaaS sales cycles, procurement dynamics, and deal structuring.
  • Experience designing and reviewing solution architectures involving SaaS platforms, REST APIs, CCaaS integrations, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing pre-sales teams and a results-oriented culture.
  • Excellent executive communication and facilitation skills for strategic workshops and C-suite presentations.
  • Experience building reusable pre-sales assets and enablement programmes.
  • Fluency in English at a professional level and willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Hands-on experience with CCaaS platforms such as AWS Connect, Genesys Cloud, NICE CXone, or RingCentral is preferred.
  • Background in computational linguistics, NLU model design, or dialogue management is preferred.
  • Exposure to AI Act, GDPR, or similar regulatory frameworks is preferred.
  • Additional European languages, especially German or other DACH-market languages, are a strong advantage.
  • Domain expertise in Banking, Insurance, Utilities, Healthcare, or Telco is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar CRM/ERP integrations is preferred.
  • Experience in a scale-up or high-growth enterprise software environment is preferred.
