Description

  • Lead the full admissions cycle for all three Reformers Academy fellowships, from application launch through final cohort selection.
  • Design, refine, and improve admissions systems, workflows, and evaluation tools as the organization scales.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate data across Airtable and other platforms.
  • Review applications and evaluate candidate ideological alignment, strengths, experience, and growth areas.
  • Coordinate and schedule 100+ interviews per admissions cycle.
  • Track cohort composition to ensure a balanced mix of experience levels, skills, and geographic representation.
  • Partner with the outreach team to build state-by-state recruitment pipelines and identify high-potential candidates.
  • Convene informal recruitment councils to strengthen local and policy-specific networks.
  • Support recruitment content creation for LinkedIn and other campaigns.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for applicants and ensure a timely, professional candidate experience.
  • Represent Reformers Academy at select events, priority-state trips, and biannual fly-in weekends.
  • Prepare accepted fellow directories and onboarding materials for cohort launch.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex, multi-step processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve systems and workflows.
  • A systems-builder mindset with an interest in streamlining and/or automating processes.
  • Strong judgment and discernment when evaluating ideological alignment, candidate strengths, and areas for growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort with learning new technologies and data systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in admissions, recruiting, talent selection, or project management involving complex administrative workflows preferred.
  • Familiarity with policy ecosystems such as state legislatures, think tanks, advocacy organizations, or government roles preferred.
  • Experience conducting structured interviews or using evaluation rubrics preferred.
  • Knowledge of Airtable, LinkedIn Recruiter, or a similar CRM platform, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Qualified candidates must submit a single PDF containing a cover letter with three reasons for interest in Reformers Academy’s mission, salary requirements, and a resume.

  • $65,000 - $80,000 annual salary.
  • Health coverage with 50% paid by RA.
