Description

  • Perform objective mental health evaluations to assess symptom severity, functional impairment, and the appropriateness of leave or workplace accommodations.
  • Develop and document concise evaluation summaries that clearly explain clinical rationale, functional findings, and recommendations.
  • Provide ethical treatment plan recommendations and care pathway guidance aligned with clinical needs and workplace considerations.
  • Identify trends and recurring themes in leave and accommodation requests to improve evaluation quality, consistency, and member experience.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation across systems while meeting privacy, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with internal teams, treating providers, and external stakeholders to support coordinated evaluations and a seamless member experience.
  • Contribute to shaping standards, workflows, processes, and clinical guidance for a newly established function.
  • Complete evaluations within established service-level expectations and deliver recommendations that withstand internal and external review.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related mental health field.
  • An unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in good standing, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.
  • Applicants must not require licensed supervision.
  • Ability to work a full 40-hour work week.
  • Comfort with technology and telehealth competence.
  • Excellent written communication skills for clear, objective, and clinically defensible documentation.
  • High ethical standards with a commitment to impartiality, objectivity, and member-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary remote team.
  • Clinical experience conducting mental health assessments, with strong preference for disability, leave of absence, workplace accommodations, or occupational mental health experience.
  • Willingness to become cross-licensed in other states, sponsored by Spring Health.
