Description

  • Identify target customers, build relationships in key accounts, and develop a pipeline to meet annual sales targets.
  • Understand customer needs and business processes and articulate Sorcero’s value proposition.
  • Deliver platform demonstrations on site and virtually, tying product benefits to specific business needs and use cases.
  • Partner with revenue operations and solutions teams to develop proposals and with implementation teams to ensure scope and customer expectations are met.
  • Work with marketing to improve customer communication.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene by updating opportunity status weekly and ensuring revenue and sales reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to establish contract value and close deals.
  • Collect competitive intelligence and maintain customer tracker documentation across the sales and implementation lifecycle.
  • Onboard new internal customer team members and ensure they understand customer history.
  • Participate in company meetings and support internal team initiatives across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree, such as an MBA, MS, or PhD.
  • 10+ years of software sales experience.
  • 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience selling to medical, safety, and commercial functions in life sciences companies is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build deep business relationships with executives at large or highly strategic life sciences customers and delivery partners.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences organizational structures, buyers, and buying processes.
  • Discipline to manage pipeline and execution in HubSpot CRM.
  • Knowledge of big data and analytics; experience with life science data sets, vendors, and the competitive landscape is preferred.
  • Knowledge of NLP, NLU, NLG, and deep learning language models.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across Marketing, Solutions, Implementation, Product Development, and Engineering.
  • Must be authorized to work without employer sponsorship, as the company cannot sponsor or take over employment visas at this time.

  • Base salary of $125,000-$150,000 depending on experience and US location.
