Description

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to global sales teams on deal structuring and execution throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide guidance on routine to moderately complex deal structures that maximize ACV, customer satisfaction, and risk management.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Legal, Deal Operations, Pricing, Billing, and Compliance to resolve custom deal requirements.
  • Escalate specialized issues to the appropriate stakeholders and drive them to resolution.
  • Act as the main contact for progressing deals through the required approval levels.
  • Review deal progression with team members to improve cycle times and ensure accurate execution.
  • Review submitted deal requests for accuracy and compliance with sales order acceptance policies.
  • Ensure approved requests are documented in line with Finance Operations and accounting processes.
  • Maintain internal controls and work toward zero processing errors.
  • Lead project improvement plans and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant Deal Desk or Sales Support experience in a SaaS company.
  • Experience supporting Direct, Channel, Government, Services, and International Sales.
  • Understanding of sales processes, billing, revenue recognition, deal structuring, and contract management.
  • Experience consulting on common deal patterns.
  • Experience supporting resellers.
  • Ability to drive organizational change and improve processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours on a rotating schedule to support EMEA and APAC sales teams.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, NetSuite, or similar CRM and ERP systems.
