Description

  • Own the integrated revenue strategy tied to company goals and unit economics.
  • Design the coverage, territory, and segment model across the revenue organization.
  • Allocate headcount and budget based on ROI and constraints while maintaining a healthy cost of sales.
  • Build the operating cadence that drives forecast accuracy and quota attainment.
  • Scale repeatable go-to-market playbooks across segments while preserving segment nuance.
  • Build and improve enablement programs, including messaging, objection handling, discovery, onboarding, and coaching.
  • Implement quality assurance loops such as call scoring, pipeline hygiene, and deal reviews.
  • Build a high-performing leadership bench and scalable organization design.
  • Set hiring rubrics, enforce performance standards, and develop a strong coaching and accountability culture.
  • Own the GTM systems architecture, including CRM and related tooling, and lead automation improvements.
  • Align Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data around revenue priorities and resolve tradeoffs quickly.
  • Lead major organizational and process transformations while protecting quarterly performance.

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience in marketplace sales or B2B SMB and mid-market services with a quota-carrying motion.
  • Strong executive presence with board-ready communication and clear variance explanations.
  • Track record of hiring, developing, and upgrading sales talent effectively.
  • Experience building accurate forecasting, clean pipelines, and systematic sales motions.
  • Comfort tying decisions to metrics and unit economics without losing sight of growth.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Data.
  • Remote-first work environment; hybrid role if based in San Francisco.
  • Compensation varies by geographic tier and experience, with base pay ranges from $205,000 to $330,000 USD depending on location.
  • Candidate should be comfortable leading through change and managing complex organizational transformations.
