Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2–4 Market Development Managers to achieve new business revenue targets.
  • Establish team performance expectations, pipeline management standards, and sales accountability measures.
  • Oversee prospecting, outbound activity benchmarks, pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and conversion performance.
  • Provide regular 1:1 coaching, performance check-ins, and professional development planning for team members.
  • Manage and improve revenue forecasting, CRM utilization, reporting, and other operational processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, operations, volunteer engagement, and mission-facing teams to improve partnership conversion strategies.
  • Develop and execute new business prospecting strategy with a focus on outbound pipeline growth and market expansion.
  • Identify high-growth industries, enterprise opportunities, and emerging market segments to diversify revenue.
  • Lead optimization of outreach tactics, prospect qualification models, messaging, and engagement strategies.
  • Personally manage and close strategic partnership opportunities, including cold-heavy markets, while contributing directly to revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of sales or fundraising experience with a strong focus on new business development.
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience.
  • Proven success in outbound (cold) pipeline development and revenue generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into action.
  • Experience managing pipeline, conversion metrics, and sales performance.
  • Professionally trained in consultative sales techniques (preferred).
  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising or corporate partnerships (preferred).
  • Experience scaling outbound sales strategies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot (preferred).
