Description

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Verify transactions across day books, supplier ledgers, client ledgers, and the general ledger.
  • Bring books to trial balance stage and perform partial checks of the posting process.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure accuracy.
  • Complete and file US tax forms and support quarterly and annual tax preparation.
  • Manage invoices, receipts, payment records, financial reports, and statements.
  • Ensure compliance with US accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Build and document bookkeeping processes and SOPs.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, manage client communications, and resolve complaints.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, service requests, and support tickets.
  • Maintain CRM updates, database records, and detailed customer interaction logs.
  • Manage email, calendars, travel arrangements, document preparation, and general file/records management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Direct experience with US accounting practices and tax filing is required.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required; Xero or FreshBooks is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with additional accounting software such as Xero, Wave, or FreshBooks is preferred.
  • CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ClickUp, Asana, or Trello is preferred.
  • Experience supporting US-based clients or companies remotely is preferred.
  • Comfort using cloud storage platforms such as SharePoint or Google Drive.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask across finance and operations.
  • Self-directed and able to manage deadlines without close supervision.
  • Professional discretion when handling sensitive financial and client data.
  • Collaborative, responsive, and proactive about documentation.
