Description

  • Support customer design and architecture workshops, requirements gathering, and implementation planning.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and Portworx Enterprise, PX-Backup, and PX-DR solutions.
  • Deploy and operate solutions across OpenShift, Rancher, VKS, on-premises, and cloud environments.
  • Optimize Portworx configurations against storage platforms such as FlashArray and FlashBlade.
  • Lead API and microservices deployments, day-two operations, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Support CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code workflows using tools such as Jenkins, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Serve as an initial contact for support cases and enhancement requests, coordinating issue resolution with Support and Product Engineering.
  • Validate production changes, remediate testing issues, and provide customer training and knowledge transfer.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, delivery partners, vendors, and customer teams throughout engagements.
  • Create reusable runbooks, procedures, and templates to improve delivery quality.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting production Kubernetes environments.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, containerized solutions, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise customers in production environments and communicating with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Expertise with Kubernetes and at least one orchestrator such as OpenShift, Rancher, or Mirantis.
  • Linux administration experience with RHEL, SLES, Debian, or Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, software-defined storage, NFS, block storage, and iSCSI.
  • Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, configuration management, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, object storage, and highly available data platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; CKA/CKAD, scripting, virtualization, observability, security, database, or Portworx certifications are preferred.
  • Must be based in the UK and eligible to work there, with willingness to travel across EMEA 30% or more.
  • Contract engagement aligned with Everpure’s Portworx EMEA delivery roadmap.
