Description

  • Lead and direct a regional direct sales team to drive sales growth of the automotive F&I product portfolio across the western U.S.
  • Acquire new dealership accounts and cultivate and maintain relationships with existing automotive, RV, powersports and marine dealers.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow same-store sales and increase product penetration with existing clients.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop sales team members to build future leaders and improve team performance.
  • Conduct financial reviews with dealership executive ownership (monthly, quarterly, yearly) to ensure profitable revenue growth.
  • Use CRM to actively track and analyze sales leads and customer interactions to enhance business relationships and drive sales.
  • Coordinate with area Regional Sales Directors and Division Sales Directors to manage distribution channels and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Manage and track customer projects from initiation to completion and assist with the formation of Protective profit participation programs.
  • Represent the company at state automotive events to promote product lines and drive brand awareness and a winning culture.

Requirements

  • Prior sales management experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing sales results in an assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time by air or car.
  • Must have own vehicle and a good driving record.
  • Experience using CRM systems and conducting financial/operational reviews with customers.
  • Strong presentation, communication, leadership and customer-service orientation (excellent listening and interpersonal skills).
