Description

  • Lead new-logo acquisition across the East region by identifying, qualifying, and closing enterprise opportunities.
  • Own the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through close.
  • Run account-based strategies to penetrate target accounts and build sustainable pipeline.
  • Manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across large organizations.
  • Engage prospects through executive dinners, regional events, on-site meetings, and other field activities to accelerate deals.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Development, and Solutions Architects on go-to-market motions.
  • Provide market feedback to Product and GTM teams to improve offerings and positioning.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Strategic Account Executives focused on new-logo acquisition.
  • Tailor solutions and communicate Temporal’s value proposition to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, forecast accurately, and track sales performance.
  • Represent Temporal as a trusted advisor and stay current on industry trends, competition, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise technology or developer tools sales experience, including new-logo acquisition in the East region.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing complex six- to seven-figure deals.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, technical evaluation processes, and competitive landscapes.
  • Experience selling developer-focused or technical products is a strong plus.
  • Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to distributed systems, software architecture, and cloud-native environments.
  • Strong executive presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from developers to C-suite executives.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, Common Room, ZoomInfo, and similar modern sales tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
