Description

  • Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives.
  • Coach SDRs through regular 1:1s, call reviews, and structured feedback to improve performance and quota attainment.
  • Partner with Marketing on lead quality, campaign follow-up, and inbound/outbound sequencing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales leadership to improve handoffs, feedback loops, and pipeline conversion.
  • Own team KPIs including activities, meetings booked, pipeline generated, and conversion rates.
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance results and strategic recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Build and iterate on outbound playbooks, messaging frameworks, and sequences using approved marketing assets and data insights.
  • Manage and optimize the SDR tech stack, including Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Develop and refine ideal customer profiles and target account lists with Marketing and Sales leadership.
  • Drive experimentation across multi-channel outbound motions, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and events.
  • Ensure CRM hygiene and data accuracy across the team, including activity tracking and reporting standards.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and refine targeting strategies toward the highest-value prospects.
  • Build career development paths for SDRs and support growth into Account Executive or other senior roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience.
  • Experience as a Sales Development Representative with a track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Proficiency using CRM tools.
  • Experience with AI applications such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Notebook.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the continental United States.
  • Experience leading or developing SDR teams (preferred based on role scope).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing and Sales leadership on pipeline generation.
  • Strong reporting and KPI management experience.
  • Relevant sales leadership, coaching, or team management experience (implied by role responsibilities).

Benefits

  • Annual base salary range of USD $53,000 to $85,000 for U.S. candidates.
  • Eligibility to participate in TiDB’s Bonus and Equity Plan.
  • Eligibility for TiDB’s Sales Compensation Plan if applicable.
