Description

Design, deploy, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP, AWS, Azure, and OCI.
Architect highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable cloud solutions.
Manage cloud compute, networking, and related resources.
Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud workloads.
Migrate on-premises applications and services to cloud environments with minimal disruption.
Optimize cloud resource utilization and implement auto-scaling policies.
Design, deploy, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration strategies.
Implement and maintain Istio service mesh, including traffic management, observability, and multi-cluster deployments.
Deploy, configure, and manage HAProxy and Nginx for load balancing, reverse proxying, and traffic management.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Harness, and ArgoCD.
Deploy and manage Apache Kafka and ProxySQL for streaming, database proxying, and high availability.
Design and implement cloud networking, secrets management, and security controls across multi-cloud environments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
Hands-on experience managing production workloads across multiple cloud platforms.
Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and IAM.
Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS, CloudFormation, and IAM.
Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, AKS, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Virtual Networks, Azure Functions, and ARM templates.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services including Compute, OKE, Object Storage, and networking.
Expert-level Kubernetes knowledge, including cluster architecture, networking, storage, and security, with hands-on experience in GKE, EKS, and AKS.
Proficiency in Docker, Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Harness, ArgoCD, Apache Kafka, ProxySQL, Prometheus, Grafana, and HashiCorp Vault.
Deep expertise in Istio architecture, deployment, operations, traffic management, security, and observability; experience with other service mesh tools such as Linkerd or Consul Connect is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, load balancing, reverse proxying, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity.
Strong scripting ability in Python and Bash; familiarity with Go, YAML, JSON, Git, and GitOps practices.
Relevant cloud and technology certifications are highly desirable.
Experience with infrastructure testing frameworks such as Terratest or Kitchen-Terraform is required.
Understanding of event-driven architectures, MySQL basics, database replication, and clustering is required.
