Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
  • Automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Implement cloud security controls and compliance practices aligned with federal standards.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to support application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud performance using Azure observability tools.
  • Configure and optimize Azure networking and load balancing components for secure connectivity.
  • Support cloud migrations and hybrid integrations with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
  • Implement backup, snapshot, and disaster recovery solutions for Azure environments.
  • Collaborate with government agencies, DevOps teams, and security engineers on mission and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred, or equivalent Azure certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems administration with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud engineering, Terraform, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 4+ years of experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps services.
  • Experience working in multi-cloud and hybrid environments integrating Azure and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure networking services such as Virtual Networks, Azure DNS, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, or Azure Load Balancer/Application Gateway.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, encryption, security monitoring, and compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and DoD standards.
  • Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Bash, and YAML/JSON for cloud automation and system management.
