Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of 8 to 10 strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Build deep relationships with multiple stakeholders, including program owners and executive sponsors.
  • Take over accounts opened by sales reps and transition into the client’s primary point of contact.
  • Map each client’s annual event calendar and proactively identify new opportunities.
  • Scope new programs with clients, build proposals, and pitch the work.
  • Coordinate sales, creative, and production teams through the deal cycle and ensure clean handoffs to delivery.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to communicate value and align on priorities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including pipeline, account notes, contact maps, and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, client dinners, and select onsite programs with about 10% travel.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in account management, client success, or B2B sales.
  • Account management experience at an event agency is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience retaining and growing complex enterprise accounts.
  • Experience taking over accounts from a sales rep or another owner and becoming the client’s primary partner.
  • Comfort managing multi-stakeholder accounts and earning credibility with senior leaders.
  • CRM fluency required, with experience in NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Production knowledge is a plus, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to travel about 10% of the time.
  • Strong presence, accountability, commercial judgment, and discipline in follow-through.
