Description

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new multi-service creative and marketing contracts in the sports sector.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Tier-1 sports clients, including leagues, franchises, broadcasters, athletes, and streaming platforms.
  • Lead the full sales process from outreach and chemistry meetings through RFP responses and final contract negotiations.
  • Present and sell the full Engage service offering, including creative production, social and influencer marketing, PR, outreach, strategy, and insight.
  • Work with internal specialized agencies and service providers to develop integrated solutions for sports brands and organizations.
  • Drive revenue growth by closing high-value partnerships and meeting commercial targets.
  • Track market trends in digital sports marketing, fan monetization, and athlete-led content to inform positioning and outreach.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and forecasting records in Salesforce.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, sporting events, and internal site visits as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven success in business development or senior account management within sports, esports, or a sports-focused creative agency.
  • An existing network of contacts across North American sports leagues, teams, athletes, and sports-media marketing departments.
  • Deep understanding of sports creative production, fan social ecosystems, and the athlete-influencer landscape.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and influencer marketing, including ROI and performance metrics.
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding multi-million dollar annual sales targets.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment across North American time zones.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, sporting events, and internal site visits.
