Description

  • Develop, build, and strengthen referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Create strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new business opportunities.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partnership issues by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing to plan and execute partner sales initiatives such as educational events, email campaigns, and webinars.
  • Work with partners to define business goals, performance metrics, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive demand-generation activities that support pipeline growth and revenue generation.
  • Manage key partner accounts and growth opportunities with ownership and discretion.
  • Use independent judgment to create solutions to operational partnership challenges when needed.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and human capital management (HCM) partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space.
  • Experience in territory sales and business development.
  • Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment.
  • Ability to operate independently as a highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Resilient and resourceful, with the ability to recover quickly from setbacks and find creative ways to get things done.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce to manage sales cycles is preferred.
  • Growth mindset and willingness to embrace feedback and accountability.
  • Ability to be in the field 3 days per week.
