Description

  • Serve as the trusted partner and single point of contact for Egen customers.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Egen solutions and own individual sales objectives.
  • Build direct customer relationships and identify opportunities for services and solution engagements.
  • Lead scoping for service projects and quickly draft statements of work.
  • Ensure successful outcomes for both customers and Egen delivery teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel partner account teams to create mutual success plans and grow account value.
  • Align with channel partner account teams to support implementation opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Work with marketing to develop customer success stories, account-based marketing plans, and related content.
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to qualify new opportunities and drive net new business.
  • Own account strategy development and P&L management for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in sales of technology services and/or solutions.
  • Previous sales experience with a public cloud provider or platform such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience consulting customers with a focus on cloud and data solutions.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1,000 and/or Fortune 500 clients.
  • Prior relationships in the cloud ecosystem and/or strong relationships with a cloud service provider (CSP).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Good understanding of the enterprise cloud adoption lifecycle.
  • Ability to establish long-term relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to establish credibility with key decision makers and IT leadership.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, financial-based selling, and sales and revenue forecasting.
  • Relationships at the C-level, VP, and Director level at key customer contacts.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership in a technical role or related technical sales experience.
  • Must be located in the United States and not require work visa sponsorship.
  • Ideally located in the Pacific time zone.
  • Willingness to travel significantly within the region for client engagements.
