Description

  • Support partner technical initiatives such as cloud migration, application modernization, and DevOps transformation.
  • Ensure successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources.
  • Participate in joint business planning and review sessions to align Datadog and partner technical teams.
  • Collaborate on partner-facing demos, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching on best practices.
  • Advocate for partner technical concerns, including use cases, feature requests, and support issues, with internal Datadog teams.
  • Analyze partner service offerings and recommend ways to improve them through better use of Datadog features and capabilities.
  • Work with product management, engineering, and technical services to identify and prioritize new features and capabilities.
  • Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor for the partner channel.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of experience in a customer-facing or partner-facing technical role.
  • Hands-on technical experience in IT development and/or operations.
  • Strong technical grounding with the ability to discuss Datadog value from technical teams to executive audiences.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong business acumen and a passion for learning.
  • Hands-on experience in two or more of the following areas: observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, or Dynatrace), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, or Go), configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef), or CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab).
  • Preferred experience working in technical roles supporting channel partners such as systems integrators or managed service providers.
  • Preferred experience using Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools, including APM, infrastructure, logs, synthetics, and NPM.
  • Preferred experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.
