Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, Data Scientists, DevOps, and Business Analysts, to develop key features and applications.
  • Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Implement specialized AI assistant technology to enhance user experiences and streamline communication.
  • Benchmark, analyze, and optimize applications for scalability, security, and responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues to maintain high software quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and the development of coding standards.

Requirements

  • Preferred M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with compiled languages such as Rust, Ocaml, Golang, Java, or C#.
  • Experience with dynamic languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
  • Experience building web or desktop applications using technologies such as Electron, Tauri, React, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools, including GitHub Actions or similar.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Redis, Neo4j, Milvious, or MongoDB, with understanding of data consistency tradeoffs.
  • Proven knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Interest and experience in early-stage software and a wide range of tasks.
  • Proven ability to use technology to build a lasting product.

Benefits

  • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j, Pinecone, or Milvious, or similar tools.
  • Experience building native desktop apps.
  • Experience with NLP libraries and frameworks such as spaCy or Transformers.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and ability to work with NLP datasets.
