Description

  • Define and execute sales plans for an assigned territory.
  • Communicate the value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers.
  • Forecast sales performance and work to meet and exceed quota.
  • Develop and manage the lead funnel from inbound and outbound sources.
  • Manage business activity and track opportunities in CRM and supporting tools.
  • Collaborate across product, support, and sales engineering to improve the sales cycle.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and understand rival offerings.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers to evangelize secure and reliable software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Must be located in New York or New Jersey.
  • Experience with compute platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins, and the broader SDLC.
  • Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
  • Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
  • Competitive, driven, entrepreneurial, and resourceful with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to clients when required.
  • SaaS or developer tools sales experience is preferred.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude and a fundamental understanding of the sales process are preferred.
  • Tech-savvy business acumen and the ability to articulate a compelling value proposition in a complex, evolving environment are preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment with an ever-evolving solution set is preferred.
