Description

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic social impact and nonprofit accounts, including net-new bookings, expansion, and long-term revenue growth.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers.
  • Create and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned to customer outcomes and social impact goals.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities while expanding existing accounts through cross-sell, upsell, and growth plays.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by mapping Twilio capabilities to public-interest use cases such as citizen engagement, crisis response, and fundraising.
  • Design scalable engagement models that expand reach and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with resellers, systems integrators, and nonprofit networks to support co-sell motions and broader market access.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with product, solutions engineering, finance, legal, and marketing to build business cases and accelerate deal execution.
  • Refine territory and account strategies based on market trends, funding cycles, policy changes, and customer feedback.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally to influence Twilio.org programs, offerings, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in sales or consulting focused on nonprofit or social impact accounts.
  • 8+ years of experience selling complex, technical products or relevant customer-facing consulting experience.
  • Deep experience in partner ecosystems and co-selling with partners such as fulfillment, delivery partners, and SIs.
  • Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including extensive C-level relationship management.
  • Experience selling to enterprise customers with complex business and technology needs.
  • Experience formulating partnership vision, strategy, and execution plans.
  • Technical ability to understand software integrations, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers.
  • Technically savvy with experience in cloud, APIs, communications, and enterprise software.
  • Technical solution-selling experience and proven ability to start from scratch, negotiate, and structure complex deals.
  • Experience with accurate and detailed business forecasting.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for speaking with executives, product managers, and engineers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years of experience working in technology in a revenue-generating role preferred.
  • Familiarity with public sector contracting, pricing, and ecosystem processes preferred.
  • Experience using fulfillment and resell partners to support deal execution preferred.
  • Knowledge of leveraging partners for customer implementations, support, and new revenue opportunities preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate partners in RFP and RFI deal support preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the State/Local Government and Higher Ed market preferred.
