Description

  • Own and manage a large portfolio of existing customers, with accountability for retaining and growing recurring revenue.
  • Build trusted customer relationships and understand business objectives, use cases, and success criteria to uncover expansion opportunities.
  • Drive account planning and execution strategies that align Algolia’s solutions with customer goals.
  • Lead commercial conversations including renewals, pricing discussions, and expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor account health, customer usage, and pipeline to identify risks early and drive predictable revenue.
  • Use AI and automation to surface expansion signals, prioritize accounts, and reduce manual work.
  • Operate independently in a fast-evolving environment and help shape scalable sales playbooks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the go-to-market motion and address customer needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS sales or account management role with ownership of renewals and expansion revenue.
  • Proven success in complex, consultative enterprise sales with matrixed organizations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Customer Success, Solutions Engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of accounts while maintaining attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Comfort operating in a high-growth, dynamic environment with ambiguity and change.
  • Ability to own and deliver on revenue targets by identifying and closing expansion opportunities.
  • Ability to engage customers with thoughtful questions and clearly articulate how solutions address their needs and pain points.
  • Ability to ramp quickly on complex technical products and understand modern web and AI-native applications.
  • Effective communication with both business stakeholders and technical audiences.
  • Nice to have: Experience with SaaS, APIs, or developer-focused products.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based business models.
  • Nice to have: Background working with eCommerce or digital experience platforms.
