Description

  • Define and execute sales plans for an assigned territory.
  • Convey Chainguard’s value proposition and product differentiators to prospects and customers.
  • Forecast sales performance and consistently meet or exceed quota.
  • Develop and manage the lead funnel using inbound and outbound opportunities.
  • Manage opportunities and business activity in CRM and related sales tools.
  • Collaborate across product, support, and sales engineering to improve the sales cycle.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and monitor competitor offerings.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and evangelize secure and reliable software.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Must speak English.
  • Domain experience in one or more of the following: compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins), and the overall SDLC.
  • Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets.
  • Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
  • Competitive, driven, entrepreneurial, and resourceful mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team-player mindset.
  • Willingness to travel to clients when required.
  • SaaS or developer tools sales experience preferred.
  • Startup experience preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude and fundamental understanding of the sales process preferred.
  • Tech-savvy business acumen with the ability to articulate a compelling value proposition in a complex, evolving environment preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment with an ever-evolving set of solutions preferred.
  • Additional language skills such as Dutch, French, or German are desirable.
