Description

  • Define and execute sales plans for an assigned territory.
  • Convey the product value proposition and differentiators to prospects and customers.
  • Forecast sales performance and meet or exceed quota.
  • Develop and manage the lead funnel using inbound and outbound leads.
  • Manage business opportunities and track activity in CRM and supporting tools.
  • Collaborate with product, support, and sales engineering to improve the sales cycle.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and competitor offerings.
  • Build relationships with key decision makers and support customer-facing sales relationships.
  • Travel to clients when required to support sales efforts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of closing experience in the SaaS, Security, or DevOps industry.
  • Must be located in the Eastern Region of the US.
  • Strong track record of consistently overachieving sales targets, ideally in the top 10-20% of the company.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and resourcefulness.
  • Team-oriented, competitive, and driven.
  • Ability to learn new products and processes quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to clients if required.
  • Domain experience with compute platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is strongly recommended.
  • Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins, and broader SDLC knowledge is strongly recommended.
  • Startup experience is preferred.
  • Strong sales aptitude and fundamental understanding of the sales process is preferred.
  • Tech-savvy business acumen and the ability to articulate value in a complex, evolving environment is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile environment with an evolving solution set is preferred.

  • Base salary of $125,000.
