Description

  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for a broad range of AWS customers.
  • Lead triage, diagnosis, and resolution of critical P1/P2 incidents across AWS services.
  • Perform root cause analysis and produce customer-facing post-mortem reports with prevention plans.
  • Coordinate with TAMs, service teams, and customer stakeholders during live outages, demos, and meetings.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting across compute, storage, database, networking, security, governance, analytics, AI/ML, serverless, and developer tools.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration and cloud solutions for customer environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.
  • Build or improve internal tooling such as dashboards, alerting, and automation.
  • Support pre-sales, scoping, positioning, and technology adoption discussions when needed.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend support for major outages or change windows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting production workloads on AWS.
  • AWS Professional-level certification such as Solutions Architect Pro or DevOps Engineer Pro, plus at least one Specialty certification.
  • Broad practical knowledge across AWS compute, storage, database, networking, security, and governance services.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
  • Strong scripting ability in Python (including boto3) and shell scripting, with experience using automation frameworks.
  • Customer-facing experience for 5+ years.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, securing, and deploying large-scale applications and solutions.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Architect-level development skills in at least one language such as Java, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Experience integrating third-party tools and solutions.
  • Ability to travel as required and provide after-hours support when needed.
  • Basic understanding of AI, ML, and Generative AI concepts, including AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend, Textract, or Lex.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI governance/security best practices, and AI-enabled cloud automation is an added advantage.
  • Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, CKA, and AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty.
