Description

  • Own the architecture for a core platform domain, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
  • Drive end-to-end design for cross-service initiatives by clarifying requirements, evaluating options, leading tradeoffs, and aligning stakeholders.
  • Produce high-quality design artifacts such as HLDs, LLDs, data flow diagrams, and API contracts, and lead design reviews.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through reference implementations, prototypes, and critical-path contributions when needed.
  • Partner with engineering teams to turn architecture into executable plans with milestones, risks, dependencies, and rollout strategy.
  • Help teams build operable systems with instrumentation, alerting, runbooks, dashboards, and failure-mode thinking.
  • Lead architecture for ingestion and enrichment pipelines handling large-scale behavioral events and third-party data.
  • Improve data quality, lineage, observability, and freshness SLAs.
  • Guide architecture for batch and online inference serving, model monitoring, experimentation, and safe rollouts.
  • Drive tenant isolation, tenant-aware configuration, partitioning strategy, scalable onboarding, and integration patterns for GTM tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant focus on distributed systems and system design.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering data-intensive, distributed, cloud-based systems.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and integration patterns.
  • Strong understanding of observability and operability, including metrics, logging, tracing, and incident learnings.
  • Experience with a major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Ability to influence across teams through clear communication, strong design rationale, and pragmatic decision-making.
  • Preferred experience in B2B SaaS, MarTech/AdTech/Revenue Tech, or similar data-heavy product environments.
  • Preferred experience with streaming or batch data systems such as Kafka, Flink, Spark, or equivalents.
  • Preferred familiarity with OLAP or analytics stores such as ClickHouse, Redshift, BigQuery, Druid, or Trino.
  • Preferred familiarity with ML platform concepts such as feature pipelines, inference patterns, and monitoring.
  • Preferred experience designing multi-tenant data and service architectures.

  • Base salary range of $209,496.00 to $307,260.80.
