Description

  • Lead architecture and technical strategy for large Azure programs and portfolios.
  • Define modernization blueprints, reference architectures, system designs, patterns, and standards across applications, platforms, and data.
  • Translate business and product strategy into cloud architecture roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Guide major architecture decisions and resolve high-impact technical trade-offs across programs.
  • Provide architectural oversight during delivery through design reviews, forums, and governance.
  • Promote modular design, testability, CI/CD, observability, and other non-functional requirements across teams.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, design, code, tests, documentation, and analysis.
  • Lead executive and senior stakeholder conversations on cloud modernization, platform strategy, AI adoption, and roadmaps.
  • Set discovery strategy and align teams on shared outcomes, APIs, integration contracts, and operating models.
  • Mentor Senior Architects, Delivery Architects, and senior engineers while helping shape career development and hiring standards.
  • Grow accounts by identifying opportunities, building executive relationships, and supporting pursuit teams.
  • Create reusable assets such as reference architectures, playbooks, templates, workshops, accelerators, and starter repositories.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience delivering solutions in application development, cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or data and analytics at enterprise scale.
  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture and leading development or engineering teams at program scale.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with the ability to set vision and lead enterprise-wide AI/ML adoption strategies.
  • Deep expertise in several areas such as agents and orchestration, search and retrieval, LLM evaluation and operations, responsible AI, Azure AI platforms, cloud engineering, data integration, analytics, and visualization.
  • Experience integrating emerging AI frameworks into enterprise-ready solutions.
  • Expertise with modern development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
  • Relevant Azure or Databricks certifications in AI, Data, or Architecture.
  • Experience leading Azure-based modernization, transformation, AI, or platform programs at enterprise scale.
  • Experience leading hybrid and remote teams across time zones while maintaining alignment and predictable delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Significant experience in Agile or Scrum environments at scale, including backlog structuring, dependency management, integration planning, and release management.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services with client-facing leadership and executive engagement.
  • Familiarity with key Azure services relevant to modern solutions such as messaging, compute, data, security, networking, management, and integration services.
  • Relevant cloud architecture certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Must not require work visa sponsorship.
