Description

  • Identify, develop, and assess medium and large new-logo business opportunities and partnerships, including cross-tower deals with key accounts.
  • Build and maintain executive- and senior-management-level relationships within prospective client organizations to become a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Drive new opportunities from identified to qualified stages, including relationship management and requirements gathering on selected deals.
  • Collaborate with a Senior Account Executive to manage qualified opportunities through the remainder of the sales cycle.
  • Work with Technology/Architecture, Offerings, and Delivery teams to design, build, and test complex solutions and offerings.
  • Research market trends and develop sales strategies to support growth in the Northeast region.
  • Present and position professional services and technology solutions to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts, deliverables, and pricing with clients.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Previous Microsoft sales experience preferred, including knowledge of Office 365, EMS, Azure, and related offerings.
  • Experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Preferred experience closing at least five seven-figure contracts with new accounts.
  • Preferred record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Preferred experience having high-level conversations with C-level executives.
  • Preferred understanding of cloud computing and its business benefits.
  • Preferred experience in information technology and services.

  • Base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year.
