Description

  • Identify companies actively hiring for roles Wing can support, including business support and operations roles.
  • Research target accounts to understand hiring needs, pain points, and fit for Wing’s services.
  • Reach out to prospective customers across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
  • Run outbound campaigns based on hiring signals, job postings, company growth, and operational pain points.
  • Hold early discovery conversations to assess urgency, hiring process, budget signals, and openness to remote talent or AI-enabled solutions.
  • Clearly communicate Wing Assistant’s value proposition to earn the next meeting and book qualified appointments.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to build and protect a healthy, well-qualified pipeline.
  • Hand off opportunities with complete context so AEs can move deals forward effectively.
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes, and pipeline data in the CRM.
  • Share market feedback with Sales, Marketing, and Product to improve messaging and outbound strategy.

Requirements

  • 1–4+ years of experience in sales, business development, appointment setting, cold calling, recruiting, staffing, or a comparable outbound role.
  • A strong interest in B2B sales, with bonus points for experience in SaaS, AI, staffing, recruiting, outsourcing, or global workforce operations.
  • Proven experience in sales prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, or high-volume outbound outreach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort reaching out to companies that may not have considered remote assistants, virtual assistants, or offshore talent before.
  • Strong research skills and the ability to turn hiring signals into relevant outbound messaging.
  • Strong organization and resilience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Motivation to work toward clear goals, activity metrics, and booked meeting targets.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Genuine eagerness to learn the product, industry, and sales craft quickly.
  • Exposure to staffing companies, recruiting firms, BPOs, outsourcing companies, virtual assistant companies, digital agent companies, or high-ticket professional services organizations is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Instantly, Clay, Close, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is preferred.
  • Familiarity with auto dialers, power dialers, cold calling workflows, and high-volume outbound systems is preferred.
  • Experience prospecting founders, executives, operations leaders, HR leaders, recruiting teams, customer support leaders, or sales leaders is preferred.
  • Awareness of business support workflows such as executive assistance, admin support, sales support, customer support, recruiting coordination, inbox/calendar management, and back-office operations is preferred.
