Description

  • Build a pipeline of qualified small and medium-sized businesses across Japan.
  • Reach decision-makers through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings where appropriate.
  • Build trust and explain the value of participating in Pulse Labs' programs.
  • Qualify businesses by understanding their fit for the program and handling questions or objections.
  • Guide businesses through onboarding, participation requirements, and program completion.
  • Coordinate scheduling, documentation, and communications with internal teams.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and track outreach, onboarding progress, and completed businesses.
  • Share regular updates and collaborate closely with the global operations team.
  • Ensure participating businesses complete required activities on time and receive a smooth, professional experience.

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Account Management, Enterprise Sales, Customer Success, or similar roles.
  • Native Japanese fluency and professional English proficiency.
  • Experience working directly with business owners, founders, or senior decision-makers.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable with proactive outreach and creating opportunities from scratch.
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working remotely.
  • Existing network within the Japanese business community (preferred).
  • Experience working with small and medium businesses (SMBs) (preferred).
  • Experience in technology, SaaS, consulting, research, or professional services (preferred).
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce (preferred).
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams (preferred).
