Description

  • Participate in the development of critical services across the Wellhub ecosystem.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve highly scalable services.
  • Build integrations with third-party APIs and tools.
  • Support existing systems by enhancing functionality, increasing scale, and adapting them to new product needs.
  • Help drive architecture decisions that affect the broader microservices ecosystem.
  • Work on systems that handle large volumes of data with high availability and resilience.
  • Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment with teams across multiple countries.
  • Contribute to long-term, sustainable solutions for complex business flows such as subscriptions and commercial conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience architecting large-scale multi-tier applications.
  • Experience designing and developing complex modern web applications.
  • Experience with cloud-based architectures such as AWS or GCP.
  • Experience developing RESTful web services and collaborating with front-end teams on mocks, payloads, and HTTP best practices.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB, including common use cases and performance pitfalls.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Ruby, Go, or C++; Golang is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams across countries and cultures.
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly when speaking to groups in English.
  • Prior experience in Java/Kotlin and architecture is mandatory for this role.
