Description

  • Define and drive solution architecture for AEM Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services implementations.
  • Establish technical standards, best practices, and development guidelines.
  • Set and enforce non-functional requirements for performance, scalability, security, and resilience.
  • Lead backend design decisions for APIs, integrations, and platform architecture.
  • Develop and guide backend implementation using AEM, Sling Models, OSGi services, workflows, Content Fragments, and GraphQL APIs.
  • Design and deliver headless and omnichannel architectures using Edge Delivery Services.
  • Oversee integrations with CRM, PIM, DAM, marketing platforms, and identity management solutions.
  • Guide CI/CD pipelines, code quality standards, automated testing, and release processes.
  • Implement observability practices including monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, backlog refinement, estimation support, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 6+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
  • 4+ years of experience with AEM as a Cloud Service and Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
  • Demonstrated experience as a Technical Lead or Senior Lead.
  • Strong expertise in Java 11+ / 17, Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, AEM Core Components, Content Fragments, GraphQL, and Universal Editor/EDS delivery models.
  • Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL API design, event-driven integration patterns, and messaging systems such as Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Cloud Manager, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with cloud observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Kibana.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code; Terraform is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Adobe IMS, secret management tools such as Vault or KMS, and performance optimization/cache strategies.
  • Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime (preferred).
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Launch, and Analytics integrations (preferred).
  • Experience with API gateways such as Apigee, Kong, or Azure APIM (preferred).
  • Exposure to GraphQL federation and schema stitching (preferred).
  • Experience delivering headless, composable architectures across web, mobile, or IoT (preferred).
  • English proficiency is required.
  • Applications are accepted only from Ontario and Quebec.

  • Salary range of CAD 115,000 to CAD 150,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
