Description

  • Perform extensive SQL-based data transformations by integrating data from multiple internal and external sources such as claims, media, CRM, and EHR-derived datasets.
  • Define, validate, and govern metrics aligned to pharmaceutical business questions including brand performance, HCP engagement, and patient journeys.
  • Apply statistical reasoning to analyze trends, identify drivers of performance, and ensure analytical rigor in insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain and iterate on analytical datasets and workflows as new data is ingested.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, anomalies, and opportunities within complex healthcare datasets.
  • Interpret analytical findings and translate them into clear business insights for marketing, analytics, strategy, and leadership teams.
  • Manually scrub, structure, and normalize data to ensure quality and analytical readiness.
  • Prepare datasets to support advanced analytics, including exploratory and explanatory machine learning techniques.
  • Develop data visualizations and dashboards that communicate insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, technology, media, strategy, and client-facing teams.
  • Document methodologies, assumptions, and data limitations to support transparency and reproducibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, transformations, and performance optimization.
  • Solid foundation in statistics and analytical reasoning, including trend analysis, hypothesis testing, and segmentation.
  • Demonstrated experience with exploratory data analysis and large, complex datasets.
  • Ability to simplify complex data and insights for diverse audiences.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical commercial or media data such as claims, prescription, media, CRM, or hub data, preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data preparation requirements for modeling, preferred.
  • Experience using Python or R for analytics and data manipulation, preferred.
  • Understanding of pharma compliance, privacy, and data governance considerations, preferred.
  • Experience working in a remote setting and collaborating across teams in different time zones, preferred.
  • US East Coast time zone preference.
  • US full-time permanent W2 employment status.
  • Up to 10% domestic travel per year for company events and socials.
