Description

  • Monitor news and events across print, digital, television, radio, and social media.
  • Collaborate with analysts to deliver timely client alerts about relevant developments.
  • Collect and prepare data for media analyses and scheduled reports.
  • Support long-term research projects and deeper insights initiatives.
  • Create Excel pivot tables and analyze report data.
  • Update report graphics and charts for review.
  • Write clear descriptive text explaining insights and data trends.
  • Validate and interpret automated scoring related to reputation risk and stakeholder views.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; communications, journalism, economics, history, or another social science is preferred.
  • Experience writing analytical reports and creating presentations using Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Proficiency with Excel for exploratory data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong interest in media, the 24/7 news cycle, and the intersection of culture, business, and politics.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in understanding the meaning behind content and data.
  • Strong attention to detail, ownership, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
  • Coachability and a learning- and growth-oriented mindset.
  • Must be located in the United States and available to work remotely 35–40 hours per week.
  • Must work a 6 a.m.–2 p.m. ET shift and occasional rotating weekend evening shifts; three-month internship expected to run mid-September through mid-December 2026.
