Description

  • Support sales leadership and partners to accelerate planning, customer prospecting, and new customer and ARR growth.
  • Align with sales regions to drive regional sales engagements across all partner types and pathways.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for sales leadership in the West region.
  • Build and execute joint business plans and territory account mapping plans with partners.
  • Educate Tanium sales teams on partner value propositions and coach them on working effectively with partners.
  • Create a partner go-to-market strategy for regional sales leaders.
  • Align strategic partners to top prospects and accounts to support large deals.
  • Own territory plans, account mapping exercises, and partner services alignment for the regional sales strategy.
  • Recruit, enable, and coordinate sales and technical teams with partners to meet sales targets.
  • Evangelize Tanium’s message to strategic partners and their customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a regional or national partner sales role in the IT Operations and/or IT Security industry required.
  • Must be based in the West.
  • Experience creating a geographic partner business or a national/global partnership.
  • Experience as a quota-carrying seller or in business development is strongly preferred.
  • Proactive, hands-on problem-solving approach with the ability to generate ideas and solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business development, sales, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate independently while managing internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated sales ability and knowledge of the sales process.
  • Ability to enthusiastically represent Tanium to strategic partners and their customers.
  • Desire to own the full partner lifecycle, starting with profiling and recruitment.
