Description

  • Own the end-to-end RFP, RFI, and proposal response process, including intake, qualification, drafting, and on-time submission.
  • Coordinate input from Sales, Legal, Finance, Security, and Product subject-matter experts to produce accurate, persuasive customer responses.
  • Build and maintain a reusable proposal content library, including answer banks, boilerplate language, case studies, and security/compliance materials.
  • Translate commercial intent into pricing, packaging, and SKU guidance within proposals and route non-standard terms through the approval matrix.
  • Own CRM data quality and Salesforce governance, including field completion, ownership, split credits, and attribution.
  • Manage the commercial approval matrix and approval workflows in CRM and CLM tools such as Ironclad or Spotdraft.
  • Validate quote configuration and pricing accuracy, and manage discounting compliance and escalation for non-standard requests.
  • Manage the full contract workflow from first draft through countersignature, including clause libraries, quote templates, and product catalogs.
  • Negotiate commercial terms directly with customers within approved parameters and orchestrate redline review across Legal, Finance, and Risk.
  • Drive continuous improvement in proposal, deal, and contracting processes by identifying bottlenecks, documenting fixes, and improving systems and playbooks.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in a deal desk, commercial contracting, or commercial/sales operations role in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience owning RFP/RFI and proposal responses end-to-end.
  • Experience managing contract workflows end-to-end, from quote validation and approval routing through redlining, execution, and repository management.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms directly with enterprise customers, including payment terms, SLAs, and liability positions.
  • Experience enforcing process and policy discipline across Sales, Legal, and Finance without direct authority.
  • Experience operating within a CLM environment such as Ironclad, Spotdraft, or equivalent.
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred, with exposure to CPQ tooling.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing architecture, deal structures, and contract risk.
  • Ability to read and interpret standard MSA and Order Form language and identify non-standard clauses.
