Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the UK and Ireland market.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of Enterprise/Territory Account Executives.
  • Shape and refine Storyblok's sales concept for the UK and Ireland target market.
  • Oversee sales activities in existing and new markets within the UK and Ireland region.
  • Guide the team in forecasting and negotiating complex deals.
  • Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and develop action plans to capitalize on them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as Sales Manager or Director of Sales.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in the UK and Ireland market.
  • Strong understanding of B2B enterprise/territory sales processes and methodologies.
  • Experience in scaling sales teams and operations in high-growth environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of UK and Ireland market dynamics and customer channel knowledge.
  • Experience in selling SaaS or similar technology products is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding and application of the MEDDPICC sales methodology.
  • Deep knowledge of the American market and a proven track record in selling in this region.
  • Demonstrates AI literacy and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work while applying sound judgment and critical thinking.
