Description

  • Own Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) from the BDR team and move them through the full sales cycle to close.
  • Develop and execute account plans to identify upsell, cross-sell, and new pipeline opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct full-cycle sales activities from discovery through negotiation, closing, and post-close handover.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders across customer accounts.
  • Manage CRM records, pipeline data, forecasting, and account tracking accurately and consistently.
  • Develop technical credibility in customer conversations and connect customer needs to the appropriate internal resources, including Solutions Architects.
  • Collaborate with SDR/BDR, Marketing, Legal, and Business Development teams to advance deals and support a seamless customer experience.
  • Gather customer feedback and share market insights with Product and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Represent Soracom at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales selling SaaS, IoT, or connectivity solutions.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle for SMEs, including pipeline management, forecasting, CRM-based account tracking, and closing.
  • Proven track record of converting SQLs into closed-won business with speed, discipline, and accuracy.
  • Experience developing account plans, designing sales scenarios, and independently generating new pipeline opportunities.
  • Experience acting as the primary point of contact for technical stakeholders and partnering effectively with Solutions Architects when needed.
  • Experience selling into diverse European markets, including the UK and mainland Europe.
  • Experience presenting to cross-functional corporate decision-makers and articulating business value clearly.
  • Strong discipline using enterprise CRM suites such as Salesforce to maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasts.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Experience in a Mobile Network Operator (MNO) or Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) environment with a focus on connectivity and IoT sales, preferred.
  • Experience in one or more of these sectors: Industrial IoT, Consumer/Smart Living, Smart Mobility, or Transactional Systems, preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with SDR/BDR and marketing teams to build pipelines through coordinated outreach, preferred.
  • A proactive, flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team beyond defined responsibilities, preferred.
  • Business-level proficiency in other major European languages such as French, German, Spanish, or Dutch, preferred.
  • Experience working remotely in an international environment, preferred.
  • Base in the UK is preferred.
