Description

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual contract and revenue quotas.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain access to customer C-level stakeholders.
  • Maintain an accurate Salesforce.com pipeline, account history, and opportunity tracking.
  • Deliver value-based sales presentations and communicate the solution vision to executives.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from solution development through contract closing.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support customer satisfaction and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful enterprise retail technology sales experience in supply chain, merchandising, pricing, or promotion solutions.
  • Experience selling into tier one and tier two markets, especially grocery, convenience, DIY, specialty retail, and wholesale/distribution.
  • Demonstrated success selling complex solutions to business stakeholders and C-level executives.
  • Repeated success exceeding $1.5MM+ quotas.
  • Experience using AI in selling and in selling AI solutions.
  • Must be independent, resourceful, adaptable, entrepreneurial, and achievement-oriented.
  • Strong collaboration skills with inside sales, pre-sales, alliances, and sales operations teams.
  • Strong customer focus with a track record of building long-term, win-win client relationships.
  • Experience with value selling tools and a value-selling approach.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interactions, proposals, internal updates, and Salesforce.com reporting.
  • Experience leading SaaS and services contract negotiations with C-level, technical, and legal teams.
  • Ability to work within CT, MT, or PT time zones and be located in Illinois through Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, or the western US near a Tier One airport.
