Description

  • Manage an assigned book of business and support account management activities for post-sale customer success.
  • Complete reporting and data requirements based on client and team needs.
  • Own customer satisfaction and retention for assigned clients.
  • Build trusted relationships with client operational leadership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of customers’ business challenges and objectives.
  • Support escalation research and data analysis to resolve client issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to drive issue resolution.
  • Identify and prioritize escalations that may create attrition risk and support mitigation planning.
  • Assist with implementation support, customer success planning, and cross-team coordination for client onboarding and ongoing engagement.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of direct account management experience in healthcare benefits, pharmacy benefits, or commercial health insurance.
  • Working knowledge of commercial health insurance and/or pharmacy benefits is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong customer experience and customer satisfaction focus.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and drive toward solutions.
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing client relationships, documenting expectations and deliverables, and keeping stakeholders informed.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Ability to take initiative with little to no direction.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and a consultative, tactful communication style.
  • Ability to understand situations from the client or member’s point of view.
